First Gongcha, then The Cheesecake Factory, and now this. The franchise bug has bit us hard. Happy Lemon, Hong Kong's long-time tea brand is now in spreading the happy here in Korea. The Hongdae district to be more exact. 

What makes Happy Lemon different from all the other tea and coffee nooks in Seoul? It's not just another Americano here, cafe latte there. It's one part yummy, two parts creativity. Just take a look at their menu: Passion fruit yogurt with aloe? Crispy cocoa milk tea with brown sugar jelly?!?

I know it sounds pretty gross, but I swear that this Salted Cheese stuff is God's gift to the tea world. Ditch the straw and drink it straight up. It's like a frothy cheesecake in a cup with a tinge of green tea aftertaste. Happy Lemon's most famous drink and the only thing I recommend to first-timers.  

Happy Lemon hasn't been around for very long, and with the way news travels in Korea, the tiny boutique shop will be packed in no time. So, go get you some.
