Happy Holidaze

Nobody does Christmas better than the Philippines. Over here we start setting up decorations and playing Christmas carols as soon as the brrr months, starting with Septembrrr, roll around. As you can probably guess, yes! I'm back in 28 degree weather in sunny, beautiful Manila! I arrived right on Christmas day, so I thought a trip to Ayala Triangle to see the annual light show was only fitting. Getting lost in a daze around all the fairy lights.
The lights are a personal holiday tradition of mine, although I haven't been back to see it in a few years... Even the biggest Scrooge will feel a tug or two on his heartstrings here. Just look at all the lights!
The show is totally free, but this year, there are a couple of booths and donation boxes scattered around the park to help with the Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda relief efforts. It's the season of giving after all.

The lights should stay up all the way until January 5th of next year. And the show plays every 30 minutes from 6 to 9 PM.
I hope everyone's Christmas was as great as mine! Happy holidays!
