I've had a stressful week to say the least. I'm at the point in the semester when all my projects and final essays are coming due, my mind have been on a hundred different things lately, and not to mention that M arriving this weekend! It's been exactly three months since we last saw each other (but who's keeping track?), and I've been brainstorming for when he comes. Thank goodness it's finally Friday tomorrow. Maybe then I'll have some room to breathe!

I thought it'd be helpful for those who have nothing planned yet to see what I have penciled into my schedule. :) Take advantage of the fall time weather while it's still here!

1. I heard about Haneul (Sky) Park not too long ago, and since then, I've been itching to go!!! In the spring and summer months, the park is sprawled with tall green grass, but as it months turn colder, the reeds turn into the most magical golden color. Just imagine a gentle breeze flowing through the park and the grass swaying from side to side, ahhhh. Like a scene straight out of Spirited Away. Imagine all the Instagram possibilities..

2. My list of to-eat places is growing with each passing day, and it just so happens that, like, 75% of it is located in Itaewon. If I have the time, maybe I'll get to head over to one with with M while he's in town. At the top of the list are A. Plant, a vegan bakery that has everyone singing its praises. They say its the best pastry shop in the city, and considering how many of those we have here, that's really saying something. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge sucker for sweets, so I'm pretty pumped about it. If I have to put it into words, I'm really, really, really, really looking forward to their gluten-free carrot cake. B. Linus BBQ. Korean BBQ is taking over the entire world *_* but sometimes, I just wanna get my hands down and dirty in a pile of ribs. I mentioned how much I like country music, right? Well my love for southern traditions also extends to its food. Ribs and slaw from an Alabama-raised chef? I'll take it. C. Vatos Urban Tacos is always a favorite. M hasn't tried Kor-Mex fusion cuisine yet, and I plan to handle that little blimp reallll quick.

3. The Seoul Lantern festival at Cheonggyechon stream comes to a close this Sunday. This year's theme is Seoul traditions, and I thought it'd be a good starting point to jumpstart our little tour of the city. If you haven't gone around to check out the hand-crafted lanterns, I say go! This weekend is gonna be your last chance until next year! Maybe I'll see you there!

There's more, of course, but I'll just update along the way. T.G.I (almost).F.
