It's no secret that I'm not a fan of Japanese ramen. If I must, I'm definitely more of an OG cup noodle Shin ramen kinda girl. But because I've come down with an awful case of the flu, my new friend Tammy thought ramen would do the trick. I was too sickly and miserable to argue, so we took to Yelp and found a little place called Naruto over in Yorkville on the Upper East Side.  

The verdict: Yeah, not bad. Better than most other places I've tried. A little salty, but I've found tht all food in America seem to be overly salted. Definitely not something I'd find myself craving buuut still nice on a winter day especially when you're nursing a cold.

After lunch, we headed over to the MET. Okay, I'm not much of a museum girl, either. I'm sorry I'm being so difficult. The crap New York City weather is making me crankier than usual. I just can't get into a lot of art that they display in museums, and it didn't help that the MET is ginormous. I promise to get back in a chipper mood soon...
