Cheesecake Factory Pop-Up

The Cheesecake Factory in Korea!!! Well, at least 'til the 17th... For those in the United States, this might not seem like very exciting news, and to be honest, I don't know why I was excited to hear of its arrival either as I've never even tried it. But I still made the trek over to the Galleria in Chungdam to see what all the fuss was about.
If you are familiar with the American chain, don't get your hopes up. I was definitely a little bit disappointed when I heard that they were only serving three kinds of cheesecake. I really wanted to get my hands on their famous Red Velvet, but a pop-up is a pop-up: limited and always such a tease.
On the menu: Plain Cheesecake, Tuxedo Mousse Cheesecake, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
My Canadian partner in blogging crime, Austin.
Plain & White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
I can't really offer a comparison, but according to Austin, portion sizes are a lot smaller here, but even though you don't get as much as you would in America, the cakes are still super creamy. A little too filling for the two of us to finish.
I've been hearing a lot of talk on how The Cheesecake Factory is expanding internationally, and this pop-up is just a marketing strategy to see how the waters are in Seoul. Maybe in a couple of years we'll see an actual restaurant rather than a tiny booth at the basement of a department store. In the meantime (or at least until November 17th), find some comfort for your sweet tooth at Galleria.

Zara blazer, Topshop dress, F21 bag
I was heading out to Chungdam. That called for a dressier get-up.
