Photos from my Instagram
Totally pulling inspiration from Miho of Wander to Wonder, and celebrating all the things that happened this past October. If you have the time, take a gander at my little ol' instagram (link above).
Watched :: How to Get Away With Murder. I am a huge Shonda Rhimes fan ever since the release of Grey's Anatomy. Her lastest creation, HTGAWM (for short), centers around a highly reputable defense lawyer/law professor and her team of assistant law students as they solve high profile cases. Yeah, yeah, you may think that it's just another one of the many legal dramas floating around on TV, but there's a twist! Every episode is tied together by one specific case where her students are entwined in a murder plot. Could totally not be your cup of tea, but it definitely is mine. I love murder mysteries. I love Criminal Minds and Cold Case and Pretty Little Liars (my guilty pleasure). And HTGAWM currently tops the list.
Listened :: The music vibe in Korea is changing, I think. Instead of the usual bubblegum pop, I've been hearing a lot more hip hop/rap styled music when walking down the street. Taeyang's "Eyes Nose Lips" 눈,코,입 is one of my favorites. It's just so soothing...and just so soulful... Hahaha, I can't really describe it, so just go and have a listen for yourself. And while you're at it, check out Tablo's remake of it. And this one too by Lydia.
Ate :: The bottom right photo of my photo collage is from Queens Bagel right by Ewha University. I looooveee bagels, even more so with Queens Bagel's jalapeno cream cheese. Did ya know that a bagel equals four slices of bread, though? Heh. Whatever.
Played :: A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Anna's birthday at Domoyaki Dugout at Apgujeong. It was the first time I've been out in a months, and it was so nice to just let loose for once. We sang karaoke (Eminem and Mariah Carey made a few appearances) and drank drank drank. I distinctly remember doing the dougie (how embarrassing)(flashback 2010) and having quite profound conversations, though what about, I can't recall for the life of me. Just an allll around good time. Thanks Anna for bringing us out together!
Loved :: I've been using this one skincare product for the past few months. I've yet to see it in stores or in magazines. It's something my brother ordered online, and, although I was skeptical at first, it's been working really well. It's called Pore Deep Cleansing Skin by Monangi. It's made with chamomile extracts, tea tree oil, witch hazel, and silver argentum (which has powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties). I haven't read much into it, but it works, so I guess that's all that matters?
I think this will be a fun project to continue every month. Not only will I get to sit down and share with you what I've been into lately, but it'll also be fun to look back and see what was going on at that stage in time. But I've been kind of a fail at keeping up with traditions on this blog. HOPEFULLY this one will stick! Cheers to November!
